Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to supervise nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care. The RN will use the nursing process for patient assessments, care planning, and interventions, and will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians.

Additional duties may be assigned within the scope of the role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS certified; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties assigned within scope of role.
