Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks a Per Diem Lead Special Procedural Technologist - Cardiac for the Einstein RAU Cath Lab. This senior role supports diagnostic and interventional procedures, mentors staff, and ensures patient safety in a fast-paced lab.

Requires a science/tech degree, RCIS/RCES or equivalent, BLS/ACLS, and invasive CV scrub experience. Per diem schedule, days vary, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, rate $58.00/hour, with potential shift differential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science/math/technology required.
• 2 years experience scrubbing invasive CV procedures, or 1 year with RCIS/RCES or RT (R, CI) certification.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• RCIS/RCES or RT (R, CI) or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of Cardiac Catheterization and Peripheral Vascular devices and systems.
• Knowledge of arrhythmias and mapping/ablation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Mentor and train technical staff; coordinate coverage and scheduling.
• Maintain sterile technique and equipment used in procedures.
