Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking an experienced, full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon to lead and grow cardiothoracic surgery services at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress.

The ideal candidate will perform a full spectrum of cardiac and thoracic procedures, including robotic-assisted surgery, and will play a pivotal role in expanding the program while advancing clinical excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon or board-eligible
• Active, unrestricted Texas medical license in good standing (or eligibility)
• Proven track record with complex cardiac and thoracic cases
• Strong background in robotic thoracic procedures
• Demonstrated commitment to surgical education and mentorship

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow cardiothoracic surgery services at the North Cypress campus
• Perform full spectrum cardiac and thoracic procedures
• Utilize robotic-assisted thoracic surgery techniques
• Manage high-acuity and complex cases independently
• Serve as core faculty for Thoracic Surgery Fellowship Program
• Collaborate with cardiology, emergency, and critical care teams
