Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City seeks a Cardiopulmonary Exercise Physiologist to perform advanced exercise testing, supervise testing, and guide department education and competency validation. Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology or PhD in Medical Physiology required.
• 2+ years in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation or clinical experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required upon hire; ACSM-CEP within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing per ACSM guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains supplies and testing equipment.
• Obtains patient consent as needed.
• Analyzes testing results and provides preliminary interpretation.
• Collaborates with referring provider and medical director for optimal testing.
• Leads quality improvement and regulatory readiness initiatives.
