Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Lead Cardiac Sonographer in CDH Non-Invasive Cardiology. This full-time position requires oversight of echo services, coordination of daily workflow, and supervision of staff, with responsibilities for inpatient/outpatient echocardiography, including 2-D, M-Mode, doppler, stress echo, and transesophageal echo procedures.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate Degree of Science, ARDMS Echo registry, 3 years of hospital-based Doppler echocardiography

Qualifications

• Associate Degree of Science required.
• Graduate from accredited cardiac ultrasound program.
• BLS certification required; ARDMS Echo registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily echo workflow and staffing.
• Oversee echo staff training and competencies.
• Assist with inventory management and charge capture.
• Perform inpatient and outpatient 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler echo procedures as ordered.
