Job summary

Bish’s RV is seeking a Lead Captain & Flight Operations Manager for its Challenger 604 fleet, based in Boise, Idaho. You will lead safety, reliability, and financial stewardship of the corporate aviation department, directing daily flight ops and ensuring mission readiness.

Responsibilities include overseeing flight operation performance, maintenance coordination, regulatory compliance, budgeting, vendor relations, and crew development while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Challenger 604 or CL-600 type rating.
• Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command.
• Minimum 1,000 hours turbine Pilot in Command.
• Minimum 1,000 hours multi-engine flight time.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations, international operations, CRM, risk management.
• Experience coordinating aircraft maintenance with providers.
• Ability to pass required background and drug testing.
• Ability to work a variable schedule and respond to changing travel needs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate with executive leadership regarding travel needs.
• Maintain clear trip schedules, requirements, and passenger services.
• Coordinate fuel, ground handling, permits, catering, vehicles; manage vendors.
• Develop contingency plans for weather, maintenance, and crew availability.
• Communicate aircraft availability, risks, and disruptions to leadership.
• Lead the flight department's daily operations and crew development.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and SOP adherence.
• Monitor and manage aviation budget, costs, and vendor relations.
• Provide executive travel experience with discretion and professionalism.
• Lead with safety, reliability, and cost-conscious decision making.
