Bish’s RV in Meridian, Idaho, seeks a Lead Captain & Flight Operations Manager to lead the Challenger 604 operations under FAA Part 91, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost-conscious management. The role encompasses flight department leadership, aircraft readiness, maintenance coordination, regulatory compliance, budgeting, vendor relationships, scheduling, and enhancing passenger experience.

This is a senior, hands-on position requiring strategic vision, strong CRM, and the ability to mentor

Qualifications

• FAA First Class Medical Certificate required.
• Challenger 604 or CL-600 series rating required.
• Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command.
• Minimum 1,000 hours turbine PIC.
• Minimum 1,000 hours multi-engine flight time.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and CRM.
• Experience coordinating aircraft maintenance with providers.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate flight operations with executive leadership.
• Ensure safety and FAA Part 91 compliance.
• Manage aviation budget, invoices, and vendor relationships.
• Lead the flight department and develop its people.
• Maintain aircraft readiness and coordinate maintenance.
