Job summary

American K9 Detective Services is looking for a Lead Handler to supervise and ensure cargo screenings comply with TSA regulations. Responsibilities include training Handlers and managing canine assignments, ensuring proper care and maintenance of assigned canines, and performing duties while commanding a trained working dog.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain necessary clearances within six weeks.
• Strong physical capabilities including lifting up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Handlers to ensure compliance with TSA rules.
• Conduct and oversee duties related to cargo screenings.
• Manage and coordinate assignments and schedules for canine Handlers.
• Perform Handler duties while commanding a trained working dog.
• Maintain all training records and certifications.
