Job summary

The California State University is seeking a capable manager to oversee assigned major and minor construction projects on its Sacramento campus. You will direct project activities from development through close‑out, coordinating design, bidding, and construction phases with internal teams and external contractors.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and proven experience in project management, budgets, and contract administration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Progressively responsible experience in project management.
Experience monitoring budgets and timelines.
Experience administering and reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven track record coordinating contracts.
Ability to manage and direct contractors/sub-contractors.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Valid driver’s license and maintaining a good driving record.
Commitment to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities
