Job summary

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and maintenance of good driving record.

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of Planning & Construction Services, the incumbent is responsible for managing assigned major and/or minor construction projects, including all aspects of project management during development, planning, design, construction, and final close-out.

FLSA

Exempt (Not eligible for overtime compensation)

Compensation

Anticipated Hiring Range: $7,917 per month - $9,167 per month
CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,135 per month - $12,288 per month

Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eligible for up to one day of telecommuting per week in accordance with department and university guidelines.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree from an accredited university
  • Professional Licensed Architect, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
  • Knowledge of California construction codes and laws, including seismic codes
  • Experience managing major and/or minor construction projects
  • Experience in successfully managing multiple, concurrent projects
  • Knowledge of California Public Works project management
  • Experience managing projects for California State University, State of California, University of California, California Community Colleges, or local governments or special districts in California
Required Licenses / Certifications

Valid driver's license and maintenance of a good driving record.
