Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of MN is seeking a Sr. Camp Cook at Camp Knutson to manage and execute high-quality bulk meals for campers and staff. The role supports a team of cooks and kitchen assistants, ensuring meals meet dietary needs and safety standards.

The position emphasizes adaptability, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure during busy service times while maintaining food safety practices and labeled, accurately measured ingredients.

Qualifications

• 5 years of food service experience.
• Serve Safe Certificate or ability to obtain after hire.
• Leadership or management experience and experience cooking for special dietary needs.
• A team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a smooth food service operation for campers and staff.
• Prepare and serve bulk, family style meals following the set menu.
• Work alongside other Sr. Hospitality Cooks, Cooks and Kitchen Assistants.
• Ensure meals are prepared in line with dietary needs and safety standards.
