Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Calibration/Metrology Technician IV for our Northridge, CA facility. This full-time, on-site role requires five days on-site weekly with possible on-call support outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of calibration/Metrology experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, specifications, drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, verification, adjustment, and maintenance of diverse measurement equipment.
• Independently troubleshoot complex calibration equipment and determine corrective actions.
• Maintain calibration records, documentation, and equipment history.
• Use IndySoft for calibration management and related activities.
• Support calibration vendor activities and process improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians.
