Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a technical subject matter expert to assess instrument calibrations against engineering and user requirements. The role involves hands-on and/or formal training for calibration, engineering, and end users, with emphasis on accurate documentation and adherence to cGxP guidelines.

You will train staff, review calibration processes, and drive continuous improvement within the calibration group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 10 years' experience in calibration/PLC and microprocessor fields.
• Experience in creating formal training plans and hands-on training.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME and bridge gaps between calibration evaluations and specifications.
• Develop or revise calibration procedures.
• Provide high-level technical support for OOT investigations and CAPAs.
• Deliver hands-on and/or formal training for calibration technicians and end users.
• Support calibration documentation reviews and work orders in electronic systems.
