Job summary

WHOOP in Boston, MA is seeking a CAD Sculptor, Industrial Design Lead to turn design intent into production-ready 3D data for wearables and accessories. You will work at the intersection of industrial design, engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing.

You will create high-fidelity Alias surface models, bridge to SolidWorks, support from concept through tooling and production, and collaborate across teams to ensure fit, durability, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of CAD sculpting or industrial design modeling experience.
• Expert in Autodesk Alias with NURBS surfacing and production-ready surfaces.
• Strong experience in integrating with mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Translate sketches and reference data into precise digital models capturing form and character.
• Create advanced NURBS surface models in Autodesk Alias with attention to curvature and transitions.
• Bridge Alias and SolidWorks workflows to ensure integration with assemblies and tooling.
• Support development from concept through prototyping, DFM, tooling, and production ramp.
• Collaborate with Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, and CMF teams to resolve wearability and manufacturability challenges.
• Mentor and raise surfacing standards across the team.
