Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Lead CAD Mapping Specialist in Houston to support the Energy division with design and drafting tasks. You will use Civil3D to design pipelines, manage data, and coordinate with engineers and managers to meet deadlines.

You will lead less experienced drafters, review complex drawings, and ensure design changes are accurately reflected in basefiles and drawings as part of a dynamic project team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering Design or Drafting is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading and mentoring drafters on complex tasks.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D for pipeline design and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD mapping and drawing production to support design teams.
• Coordinate design changes with engineers and project managers.
• Mentor less experienced mappers and review drawings for accuracy.
