Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Principal CAD/BIM Designer in Nashville, Tennessee, to develop BIM models and contract drawings for water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Revit and CAD tools, as well as a strong background in mechanical design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or associate degree/technical certification with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk FORMA, formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Experience leading and coordinating construction contract drawings for medium- and large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Lay out process mechanical piping in Revit to create enlarged plans, sections, and details.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.

Skills

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit

Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D

7+ years of relevant experience

Experience in MEP design

Mentoring early-career designers

Education
