Job Details

TEKsystems is currently hiring several Lead Low Voltage Technicians in the Clarksville, TN area. Technicians should have prior large commercial installation experience and be able to work without supervision. Candidates must have their own tools, reliable transportation, and be dependable.

Top Skills

1. Low Voltage Installation: 3+ years of experience. You will have a helper with you, so no need to layout jobs or decipher cable pathways.
2. Terminations: Proficient in making up cable ends.
3. Scissor/Boom Lift: Certification required and previous experience operating lifts. (Training can be provided if needed)

Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves

• Experience in large commercial construction environments.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead a helper effectively.

Job Description

We seek skilled Technicians who can follow directions and run cable with a helper in an industrial environment. The work environment will be congested with other trades, so prior experience in large manufacturing plants or large commercial construction is essential. Large commercial experience is a must; individuals with only tenant buildout experience are not suitable. The ideal candidate will work independently, stay focused, complete tasks efficiently, and lead a helper effectively. Dependability and punctuality are crucial and will be validated through references.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Own tools; all major tools will be provided.
• OSHA 10 and Lift Certification required prior to site work. Training can be provided if needed.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility, large commercial, very congested, safety-conscious.
• Hours: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Some night and weekend work may be required.
• Mandatory breaks: 9:15 AM, 11:00 AM, 3:30 PM (two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch). Time off must be coordinated with onsite management and TEKsystems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility for benefits depends on employment status and duration. Benefits may include:
