Job description

Anistar Technologies is seeking a Lead Cabling Technician to assist with the installation of data racks and dressing closets. Experience with 25-volt or 70-volt paging systems will be considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cable in new construction and existing commercial structures.
2. Pulling and splicing fiber optic cables.
3. Installing support structures such as ladders, racks, and J-hooks.
4. Working from scissor/boom lifts if required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Experience in pulling, routing, installing, and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.
• At least 4 years of experience installing and servicing voice and data systems.
• Ownership of basic telecom tools such as punch down tools, snips, wire strippers, cordless drills, and appropriate safety gear.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards.
