Integrated Building Systems (www.IBSwebsite.com) is a technology consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1993, we offer consulting, design, and integration for voice, data, video, and security solutions. We are seeking a Network Cabling Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with structured cabling system installation. Some travel and shift flexibility are required.

Required Experience

• Installation and testing of category cabling systems
• Installation and testing of fiber optic cabling networks
• Installation and testing of coaxial cabling systems
• Installation of pathways/runways for low voltage systems

Maintain professionalism with clients, vendors, project managers, and technicians.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction methods and tools, emphasizing structural & electrical standards for commercial environments
• DAS installation experience (a plus)
• Knowledge of access control and security systems (a plus)
• Excellent communication skills
• Current BICSI certification (a plus)
