Job summary

Source Engineering & Manufacturing in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Cable Assembly and Wire Harness Supervisor. This is a 50/50 role with hands-on building and floor leadership, owning staffing, training, and workmanship standards.

You will review weekly workload, coordinate personnel, conduct performance discussions, and hold IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards across the cell while ensuring on-time production and quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cable and harness assembly background.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards experience or certification preferred.
• Supervisory or lead experience coordinating a production team, including training and accountability.
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings, wire lists, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Own the weekly workload plan: review incoming jobs and set staffing and hours for the week.
• Coordinate people, training, and job movement across the cell.
• Conduct performance reviews and handle pay conversations for your team.
• Set and hold the IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standard across the cell.
• Half your time will be hands-on building, the other half will be leading the floor.
• Jump onto the line to clear bottlenecks and protect the schedule.
