Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) at our Denver location seeks a Lead Cabin Services supervisor to oversee aircraft interior cleaning and ensure compliance with airline safety standards. You will coordinate a team, assign tasks, inspect quality, and strive for efficient turnaround times in a fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership, keen attention to detail, and experience in aircraft cabin cleaning are essential. HS Diploma or GED required; ability to read and speak English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assist with the cleaning of aircraft cabins, including seats, tray tables, lavatories, and galleys.
  • Ensure compliance with airline standards, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assign tasks to cabin cleaning agents and monitor performance to maintain efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met before aircraft departure.
  • Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
  • Communicate with supervisors and airline representatives regarding cleaning schedules and special requests.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.

Job Summary

The Lead Cabin Services oversees and participates in the cleaning and sanitization of aircraft interiors, ensuring compliance with airline and safety regulations. This role involves coordinating a team, assigning tasks, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining efficiency in turnaround times. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

  • This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union that requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.**
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assist with the cleaning of aircraft cabins, including seats, tray tables, lavatories, and galleys.
  • Ensure compliance with airline standards, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assign tasks to cabin cleaning agents and monitor performance to maintain efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met before aircraft departure.
  • Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
  • Communicate with supervisors and airline representatives regarding cleaning schedules and special requests.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Prior experience in aircraft cabin cleaning or a related field preferred.
  • HS Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
  • Must be at let 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organization; ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in supervising cleaning crews.
  • Familiarity with airline cleaning standards and procedures.
  • Ability to train and mentor team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Experience using cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions and airport environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with strict deadlines.
  • May require wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
