Job summary

Sherpa 6 seeks an experienced Network Engineer with cybersecurity expertise to support the JIATF 401 C2 Capability Manager. You will design secure, interoperable networks across classified and unclassified environments, translate mission needs into architecture, and lead RMF activities to achieve ATO.

Eight+ years in the field, DoD C2 familiarity, and strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and security controls are required.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in network engineering, C2 systems integration, cybersecurity engineering, information assurance.
• Experience with DoD C2/tactical networks and RMF-related activities.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and DoD security controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop network diagrams, data-flow and authorization-boundary diagrams.
• Design secure architectures connecting sensors, C2 platforms, and data fabrics.
• Lead RMF lifecycle tasks and eMASS documentation for C2 capabilities.
• Support C2 integration with NIPRNet/SIPRNet and mission partner environments.
