Job summary

Jobtailor in New York is seeking a senior software engineer to build, improve, and maintain a high-performance distributed online video Ad Server system. You will collaborate with Product Managers to deliver features aligned with business needs and oversee the full software lifecycle from design to support.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor the team, and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong experience with C/C++, DB design, and network programming.
• Strong experience with large system software design and development.
• Strong experience with distributed systems and mission-critical systems.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile and software engineering methodologies.
• Ability to work closely with global teams.
