Job summary

Quantum Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior C++ Developer to lead project teams and guide development and maintenance of business systems in an SOA environment, primarily on the Java platform.

The role requires strong C++ expertise, 7+ years of experience, excellent communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, plus UNIX/Linux and Windows proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development.
• Strong self-motivation with ability to work with minimal guidance.
• Excellent C++ skills, including templates and multithreading.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows distributed computing.
• Solid English communication and teamwork in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to collaborate with System Architects on design reviews.
• Proficiency with Excel/Word basics.
• Experience with AMQ and Oracle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project-team leadership and direction in an SOA-based Java platform.
• Provide development and maintenance direction across Product Analysts, QA, UAT and PMO.
• Review subsystem designs with System Architects to ensure technical alignment.

The Senior C++ Developer is responsible for project-team leadership, support and direction with business systems analysis, development and occasional maintenance support in an object/service-oriented architecture implemented on the Java platform.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree (pref. Computer Science or related degree) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience.
• Highly self-motivated, with the ability to complete tasks with minimal guidance, and to learn independently.
• Excellent skills in C++.
• Excellent skills in C++ Templates.
