Job summary

Quantum Technologies LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Java Developer/Full Stack Developer to design and build Java/J2EE microservices, with a strong emphasis on RESTful services, scalability, and secure architectures.

You will contribute hands-on coding, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into robust technical designs.

This hybrid role requires excellent communication skills and experience with Docker/Kubernetes and Kafka/MQ.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with Kafka/MQ messaging.
• Knowledge of MongoDB data modeling and performance.
• Familiarity with design patterns and scalable architectures.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Position: Java Developer/Full Stack Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid- 3 days onsite)

Interview: First round is Virtual (Video) and Final round is Face-to-face (In Person) Interview.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development ofJava/J2EE-based microservices applications
• Actively contribute tohands-on coding, debugging, and performance tuning
• Design and implementevent-driven architecturesusingKafka/MQ
• Guide and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices
• Work closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security
• Drive adoption ofclean code, design patterns, and microservices best practices
• Support deployment, monitoring, and production issues

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise inJava/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot
• Solid understanding ofMicroservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience withKafka/MQ(producers, consumers, streams, error handling)
