Job description

Overview

We’re looking for a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to partner with Finance Operations, Marketing, and Product to drive real-time decision-making. This is a strategic insights role, not a dashboard-building position. This role will work directly with raw, often imperfect data sets to surface what matters most—translating data into KPIs, visual narratives, and actionable guidance for the business. This role is ideal for someone who is analytically sharp, business-minded, and obsessed with turning noise into clarity.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes large, multi-source datasets to uncover business insights that support GTM, product pricing, and financial strategy.
  • Partners with Finance Ops to connect business performance with financial metrics including CAC, LTV, funnel velocity, and retention.
  • Defines and refines KPIs that align execution with company objectives and partners with cross-functional teams to implement strategy.
  • Supports campaign performance analysis, segment behavior trends, pricing elasticity, and product monetization strategy.
  • Summarizes insights into concise, visual presentations with bullet points, charts, and storyboards that speak directly to business leaders.
  • Drives cross-functional analysis by blending marketing, product, and financial data into cohesive performance stories.
  • Influences C-level decisions with strategic insight and crisp communication.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent), required.
  • 9+ years of related experience, required.
  • Experience in Business Intelligence, Strategic Analytics, or similar roles in a B2B SaaS environment, required.
  • Proven experience working with Finance, Marketing, and Product teams, required.
  • 12+ years of related experience, preferred.
  • Highly proficient in SQL, with comfort working across modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Domo, AWS, GCP).
  • Strongly skilled in consolidating and interpreting data from multiple fragmented datasets from numerous systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing strategies, user acquisition funnels, engagement metrics, and customer lifetime value modeling.
  • Experienced with traffic metrics, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, and similar platforms.
  • Skilled at communicating findings through brief bullet points and compelling visuals—no fluff, just insight.
  • Deep understanding of core SaaS performance metrics, including but not limited to CAC, LTV, ARR, churn, user adoption, and pricing strategy.
  • Proven ability to think both creatively and critically while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment.
  • Scrappy, proactive, and results-oriented, with a bias for clarity and action. Collaborative and team-oriented, proactively supporting team members to achieve goals.
  • Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
  • Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
