Title: Lead Business Analyst

Location: Remote / USA

Sapiens is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our North America team. If you are an experienced analyst ready to advance your career with a successful global company, this role might be ideal for you.

The Lead Business Analyst will serve as an IT interface for the Life Business, developing sustainable and consistent business requirements for the application lifecycle across the Life Portfolio. The analyst will collaborate closely with business units and technical teams, engaging in client discussions and capturing requirements based on interactions with business users.

Job Description:

1. Lead systems and technology requirement gathering sessions for system integration, updates, and configuration.
2. Act as an expert in business and user requirements gathering, leading client sessions.
3. Provide guidance and support to the Business Analysis team, acting as a Subject Matter Expert.
4. Analyze and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and industry requirements, producing functional design specifications.
5. Develop and implement software/system scripts and workarounds to address technical issues.
6. Review test plans and perform testing of Sapiens software, validating that requirements are met.
7. Participate in quality reviews of requirement artifacts to ensure completeness and standards compliance.
8. Assist teams in problem resolution, prioritizing and obtaining approval for requirements.
9. Manage and track requirement statuses throughout the project lifecycle, making adjustments as needed.
10. Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders regarding scope changes and project updates.
11. Guide on underwriting measures and processes, including risk evaluation against insurance product characteristics.
12. Perform initial configuration and setup of plans, rules, and tables in support of product definitions, and verify solution objectives.

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. 5-8 years in a Business Analysis role, with leadership experience preferred.
2. 10+ years of experience in the Life and Annuities insurance industry, including products like Whole Life, Term, Disability Income, and Universal Life.
3. Knowledge of policy administration, illustration, underwriting, and insurance solutions.
4. Experience in requirement gathering and documentation.
5. Experience with configurable enterprise systems.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Strong customer communication skills.
