Job summary

Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) seeks an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to lead first-line supervision of bus maintenance, ensuring a safe, reliable, clean, and cost-efficient fleet to support the community's transit commitments.

You will manage PMI schedules, document actions in the MMS, coordinate repairs with Shops, supervise staff, train teams, and uphold safety, empowerment, accountability, teamwork, and service in line with COTA's Strategic Plan.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED and four years of supervisory experience in vehicle maintenance.
• ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules PMI reviews and vehicle audits to ensure safety and proper workmanship.
• Documents maintenance actions with repair codes in MMS.
• Coordinates repairs with other Shops and assigns staff.
• Maintains records of vacations, schedules and payroll accuracy.
