Summary: Lead Commercial Building Sales Estimator will work Sales Team Members to prepare Sales Quotes for Fabric and Metal Beam Buildings.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Commercial Building Sales Estimator to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Commercial Building Sales Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team by utilizing Metal Building Software (MBS) and Sales Quoting Tools to generate accurate structure estimates, collaborating with sales representatives, customers, and project managers to ensure project details are captured, and delivering building pricing estimates in a standardized format.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Estimate Generation: Utilize Metal Building Software (MBS) and Sales Quoting Tools to generate precise estimates for commercial building projects as requested by Sales representatives.
• Collaborative Communication: Participate in conference calls with Salespeople, Customers, and Project Managers to comprehensively review project details, ensuring accurate estimation.
• Pricing Expertise: Generate Building Pricing Estimates based on project specifications and deliver them to Sales Team Members and Sales Management in the Standard Quote Reporting Format.
• Software Proficiency: Leverage your 1-3 years of experience with MBS to efficiently navigate and utilize the software for estimating purposes.
• Preferred Expertise: Demonstrate experience with mezzanines, bridge cranes, and MBS Project, showcasing a depth of knowledge in these areas.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Lead Commercial Building Sales Estimator will report directly to the Sales Support Manager. This individual will not have any direct reports.

Education and/or Experience

One to Three years of hand on experience using the estimating software called MBS (Metal Building Software). Preferred experience in ACT Building Systems.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of commercial building components, including mezzanines and bridge cranes, is a plus.

Associate Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Order processing systems and Word Processing software.
