Building Maintenance Systems Inc. (BMSI) is seeking a Lead Building Engineer in Rockville, MD to oversee building operations and maintenance.

The role involves servicing electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other trades, coordinating with the property management team and ensuring a safe environment for tenants and visitors. The candidate will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service tickets, and supervise or assist with tasks across multiple trades, while maintaining detailed records and

Competenze

• High-level mechanical skills and abilities with HVAC equipment.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and building systems inspections.

Mansioni

• Perform building and systems inspections, making modifications to building systems.
• Complete preventive and corrective maintenance requests professionally.
• Coordinate with vendors to complete contracted work orders.
• Maintain records, reports, and evaluations of building maintenance operations.
• Identify and order parts, materials, and supplies as needed.
• Manage Building Management System (BMS) / EMS as directed by Lead/Chief Engineer.
• Maintain a clean engineering shop and facilities.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Perform related work as required.
