Collins Engineers seeks a Bridge/Sign Inspection Team Leader for our New York office. The role blends office and fieldwork with state-wide travel, overseeing bridge and sign inspections and coordinating with clients and agencies.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years in bridge/ancillary inspections, 5+ years in project management, a PE license, and a valid driver's license, plus completion of the NHI/FHWA course. Relocation and sign-on bonus are available.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 12 years of bridge or ancillary structure inspection experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in project management.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Must have passed the NHI/FHWA Safety Inspection course (130055 or 130056).
• Valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Supervises above water and underwater bridge and ancillary design, inspection and evaluations.
• Reviews, analyzes and provides recommendations on field and/or design issues or adaptations.
• Assists in proposal preparation.
• Prepares and monitors project budgets.
• Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects.
• Directs and supervises the work of entry-level engineers, technicians, drafters and administrative staff.
• Coaches field staff on the purpose and processes of inspections and inspection techniques.
• Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Is active in technical societies.
