Job summary

Stantec’s New York City office is seeking a Bridge Inspector Team Leader with 7 years in structural engineering and a New York State PE license. Based at the 5th Avenue office, you will lead field inspections of bridges ranging from suspension to major viaducts in the NYC Metro area.

You will coordinate with key clients such as NYSDOT, Port Authority of NY&NJ, TBTA, and NYCDOT, perform bridge condition evaluations, and guide the inspection team to deliver high-quality project work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New York.
• Minimum 7 years of structural engineering and 5 years in bridge inspection.

Responsibilities

• Field inspection of bridges including suspension and major viaducts in NYC Metro.
• Coordinate with high-profile clients (NYSDOT, Port Authority, TBTA, NYCDOT).
• Lead inspection team and document conditions.
