Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks an experienced Bridge Inspection Team Leader for its Bridgewater, NJ office.

You will lead bridge condition inspection assignments for state, county, municipal, and transportation agency clients primarily in New Jersey, with opportunities to travel to other states. Join a multi-discipline engineering firm providing planning, design, and construction services for transportation infrastructure and building systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
NJPE license or ability to obtain preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead inspection teams for routine, in-depth, NSTM, and ancillary structure inspections.
Plan, coordinate, and perform field inspections of bridges and related structures.
Prepare inspection reports, field documentation, and maintenance and repair recommendations.
Review bridge condition assessments and develop repair and rehabilitation recommendations.
Coordinate with project managers and agency representatives.
Mentor and oversee assistant team leaders and inspectors.
Ensure compliance with GPI and agency-specific safety requirements.
Assist with project scheduling, budget management, and quality control.
Assist with marketing, client maintenance, and proposal development.
