Job summary

Pennoni Associates in State College, PA seeks a ProjectBridge Engineer to lead bridge design and rehabilitation projects with minimal supervision. You will coordinate with road, traffic, geotechnical, civil, and environmental teams and oversee junior engineers, attend client meetings, and help prepare proposals for new work.

Responsibilities include completing bridge designs, load ratings, calculations, construction plans, specs, estimates, and schedules for PennDOT submissions (TS&L, PS&E).

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of PennDOT bridge design, analysis, and rating software
• Microstation
• PennDOT Open Plan
• Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge and culvert rehabilitation and/or replacement design projects with limited supervision
• Coordinate with roadway, traffic, geotechnical, civil, and environmental disciplines
• Provide oversight of project and junior engineers
• Attend meetings, interact with clients, and assist in proposals for new work
• Prepare bridge designs, load ratings, calculations, construction plans, specs, estimates, and schedules for PennDOT submissions (TS&L, PS&E)
