Job summary

Texas Craft Brewers Guild is seeking an experienced, quality-focused Brewer to lead production, cellar, and packaging on our 10 bbl system. This is a Full Time position that offers 401k matching retirement but no health care.

You will manage wort production, fermentation profiles, yeast health, dry hopping, and CIP protocols, and oversee canning and kegging. The role involves QA/QC, recipe scaling, and collaboration across our two locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial brewing experience (Lead, Production, or Head Brewer level).
• Proven expertise in recipe scaling, yeast management, water chemistry, and off-flavor prevention.
• Ability to lift 55+ lbs and maneuver full kegs.

Responsibilities

• Manage wort production, fermentation profiles, yeast health, dry hopping, and strict CIP protocols.
• Oversee brite beer conditioning, carbonation, and packaging runs (kegging and canning).
• Maintain tight QA/QC standards (gravities, DO, pH, shelf-stability) and equipment maintenance.
• Scale core recipes, develop new styles, and manage raw material inventory. Participate in festivals, community events, and events at both of our locations.
