Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee day-to-day operations of the breast imaging department and coordinate technologists for efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

You will work with Department Manager, Quality Coordinator, and Lead Interpreting Physician to uphold imaging standards in a high-volume environment and ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography certification required.
• 3–5 years in mammography.
• Lead or senior technologist experience preferred.
• Strong breast imaging workflow knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and workflow of the breast imaging department.
• Coordinate technologists during daily operations with the Department Manager, Quality Coordinator, and Lead Interpreting Physician.
• Ensure efficient patient flow and resource utilization.
• Maintain imaging standards and high-quality patient care.
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and scheduling systems.
