Job summary

ClickUp is seeking a senior brand designer to own and evolve ClickUp's brand design system. You will set the visual standard across pages and campaigns, and build guardrails so AI tools and non-designers can produce on-brand work with confidence.

You’ll lead design-system documentation, templates, and assets, designing high-volume web experiences while ensuring cohesion as the brand grows, including launches and keynote moments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of brand/visual design experience with leadership of a design system.
• Portfolio demonstrating mastery of typography, layout, color, motion, and systematic thinking.
• Active use of AI design tools and AI-assisted coding tools; light familiarity with GitHub.
• Built or adapted design systems to enable AI-generated outputs at scale.
• Experience creating templates, component libraries, and guardrails for non-designers and AI tools.
• Quality assurance of AI-generated design outputs and identifying AI limitations.
• Thrives as the sole designer on a team with autonomy and AI-enabled tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and evolve ClickUp's brand design system (tokens, components, patterns, guidelines).
• Serve as quality gatekeeper: review and approve brand-facing AI outputs and external work.
• Create and maintain design system documentation, templates, libraries, and automation-friendly assets.
• Design and ship high-volume web assets (landing pages, campaign pages, feature announcements).
• Audit and rebuild the brand design system from incomplete foundations with proper documentation.
