Job summary

Arandell is seeking a skilled Bookbinder to join our production team. This role centers on owning bindery machines (stitcher or perfect binder), ensuring top quality and safety while guiding technicians to meet production goals.

The position runs on a second shift, Monday through Friday, 3PM–11PM, with a payrate of $29.25/hr including shift premium. Prior stitching/bindery experience and strong mechanical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with stitching and/or bindery machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Willing to work weekends and overtime.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Set up and control the assigned bindery machine for each job.
• Maintain machines and work area; ensure productivity and safety.
• Monitor quality of product on a running basis.
• Direct Technicians to use proper materials.
• Run machines at optimal speeds per supervisor goals.
• Provide feedback to management on issues affecting productivity.
• Participate in technician evaluations.
