Job summary

The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group is seeking a Leader, Bodily Injury to drive effective operation of the Bodily Injury team, delivering peak performance, efficiency, and exceptional member experiences. This remote role requires leadership, claims expertise, and a customer-focused mindset.

You will guide coaching, compliance, and process improvement, empowering staff to deliver consistent outcomes while aligning with business priorities and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in P&C insurance with direct experience in Bodily Injury claims handling and leading teams.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of employees.

Responsibilities

• Leads key initiatives within the Bodily Injury claims team and drives continuous improvement, standardization, and process efficiencies.
• Proactively identifies, monitors, and intervenes on potentially highly complex or fraudulent Bodily Injury claims.
• Ensures compliance with best practices, internal controls, and operational risk management.
• Provides superior member service to policyholders and brokers and maintains high service standards.
• Coaches, provides feedback, and supports career development for team members.
• Sets strategy and direction to build a high-performing Bodily Injury team aligned to business priorities.
