Job summary

Helping Hands Family seeks a Lead BCBA to provide in-clinic ABA services for children with autism in a collaborative, mentorship-rich environment.

You will supervise up to 5 RBTs, manage a caseload of up to 10 clients, conduct assessments, write treatment plans, and monitor progress to ensure ethical, high-quality outcomes. Expect strong clinical support and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification from BACB is required.
  • State licensure is required where applicable.
  • ABA experience; RBT background helpful for new BCBAs.
  • Strong communication skills and clinic-based teamwork are essential.
  • Commitment to ethical, client-centered ABA in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality ABA services to children with autism.
  • Supervise up to 5 RBTs and manage a caseload of up to 10 clients.
  • Conduct assessments and write individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors and Regional Directors of Quality.
  • Maintain compliant documentation per BACB and state guidelines.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based ABA services to children with autism
  • Manageable Caseload: Up to 10 clients, completing 28 billable hours in a 40-hour week (note: billable hours are not tied to pay)
  • Work with children ages 2–18, most under age 6
  • Supervise and develop up to 5 RBTs
  • Conduct assessments, write individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors, fellow BCBAs, and Regional Directors of Quality to troubleshoot cases and uphold best practices
  • Maintain ethical documentation and compliance with BACB and state guidelines

What You’ll Need:

  • Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • State Licensure where required
  • ABA experience (RBT background a plus for new BCBAs)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a clinic-based setting
  • Passion for ethical, client-centered ABA in a team-focused environment

Helping Hands Family Base Salary Range

$80,000 - $95,000 USD
