Job summary

Children Making Strides in Maryland is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide after-school ABA services. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and supervise the implementation of therapy programs.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, mentor Behavior Technicians and RBTs, analyze data, and document progress to ensure consistency and measurable progress for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required and LBA credential for Maryland.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and supervise ABA therapy programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
• Provide training and guidance to Behavior Technicians and RBTs.
• Monitor and analyze data to evaluate interventions and adjust as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

About Children Making Strides:

Children Making Strides is a reputable ABA agency that provides comprehensive therapeutic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Our mission is to help children reach their full potential by implementing evidence-based interventions and individualized treatment plans.

We are currently looking for a BCBA to service after school hours starting at 3:00 PM or later.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and supervise the implementation of ABA therapy programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, caregivers, and other professionals, to ensure consistency and progress in therapy.
• Provide training and guidance to Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in implementing therapy techniques.
• Monitor and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Possess a Maryland Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential.
• Excellent knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
