Job summary

Houston Dose is seeking a Senior Component Processing Technician to join the MD Anderson Cancer Center Donor Operations team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you'll lead the component processing laboratory to ensure high-quality blood product production and compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate has experience in blood banking and should demonstrate strong technical skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities include training staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of donor center experience including six months in a component manufacturing laboratory.
• Experience in blood banking or laboratory manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily workflow in the component processing laboratory.
• Manufacture whole blood into components and ensure high-quality production.
• Train and mentor laboratory technicians while monitoring productivity.
