Job summary

Experis is seeking a Lead Blockchain Protocol Engineer to join their advanced fintech team in Woodbridge Township, NJ. You will architect and build a core settlement engine using blockchain tech and cryptographic primitives.

You will design privacy-preserving protocols, pursue custom consensus extensions, optimize crypto operations, and create secure off-chain query layers with auditing features to support regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in backend or systems programming with Go (Golang).
• At least 6 months of experience with ECC, and 1+ year with BFT, P2P networks, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop a core settlement engine utilizing blockchain technology and cryptographic primitives.
• Implement privacy-preserving cryptographic primitives to ensure transaction confidentiality.
• Design and engineer custom consensus extensions and state machines for distributed ledger systems.
• Optimize cryptographic operations for performance and scalability.
• Build secure off-chain query layers and permissioned auditing mechanisms for regulatory compliance.
