Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Degree in Computer Science / Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering design, development, testing, and stability for distributed systems.
• Experience developing on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum or Hyperledger.
• Strong OO programming background; experience with Solidity, Java, JavaScript, Python.
• Understanding cryptographic principles in blockchain technologies (encryption, key management).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Ability to independently tackle design/functional problems with minimal oversight.
• Experience leading use of enterprise AI-assisted software development tools and setting team expectations.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements microservices architectures with industry-standard frameworks.
• Designs blockchain solutions and decentralized applications on private/public networks with cryptographic protocols.
• Drives decisions influencing product design, functionality, and operations.
• Monitors and optimizes microservice performance for high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoots issues and maintains application stability.
• Conducts code reviews and provides constructive feedback to peers.
• Promotes enterprise SDLC practices and secure coding standards across the team.
• Implements monitoring/testing practices to meet security and performance goals.
• Verifies cryptographic protocols and supports benchmark blockchain use-cases.
• Leads adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and velocity.
