Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Principal Statistician for Early Phase work, fully home based (remote anywhere in Europe). You will lead the development and execution of clinical development plans, inform design decisions with simulations, and mentor biostatisticians.

The role requires a PhD/MS in statistics, extensive trial experience, proficiency in R and SAS, and the ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to sponsors and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biostatistics or related discipline.
• Extensive experience leading multiple projects in clinical trials.
• Proficiency in R programming and statistical design.
• Experience with regulatory submissions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and execution of a clinical development plan.
• Uses simulations and statistical strategy to inform trial design decisions.
• Mentors biostatisticians and oversees training plans.
• Directs activities of biostatistics personnel to ensure timely, high-quality work.
• Prepares SAPs and collaborates with sponsor as required.
• May lead complex projects and support regulatory submissions.
