Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Bioinformatics or related field required; Master's preferred.
  • Experience 5-7 years in bioinformatics or related field.
  • Ability to program in Perl/Python; working knowledge of databases and SDLC.

Responsibilities

  • Design and apply novel computational methods and bioinformatics algorithms for data analysis of genetic, clinical, and image data.
  • Collaborate with teams and external partners on large-scale projects.
  • Contribute to development of bioinformatics strategies and research plans.
  • Mentor and train junior analysts or team members.
  • Design, maintain, and troubleshoot data processing pipelines and data architecture.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for bioinformatics tools and software.
  • Perform advanced statistical analyses and data integration across datasets.
