Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in bioinformatics or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5–7 years of related bioinformatics experience.
• Proficient in Perl or Python programming.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL/SQL Server); NoSQL experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and apply novel computational methods and bioinformatics algorithms for analysis of genetic, clinical and image data.
• Collaborate with teams, stakeholders and external partners on large projects.
• Develop bioinformatics strategies and research plans.
• Mentor and train junior analysts or team members.
• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines and data architecture.
• Provide technical expertise and support for bioinformatics tools and software.
• Perform advanced statistical analyses and data integration across datasets.
