Job summary

Aerzen USA Corporation seeks a Project Engineer II to lead the technical execution and detailed engineering of PSA biogas-to-RNG upgrading systems. You will be the primary technical contact across the project lifecycle, reviewing process design, P&IDs, PFDs, and equipment specifications.

Requires 5–10 years in engineering, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, and experience with AutoCAD, UNISIM or AVEVA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 5–10 years of engineering experience, preferably in biogas/RNG.
• MS Office proficiency; ability to read drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
• Travel up to 25% and knowledge of ASME/API is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution for PSA biogas-to-RNG systems across the project lifecycle.
• Review process designs, P&IDs, PFDs, and mass/energy balances.
• Review mechanical drawings, skid layouts, 3D models, piping designs and structures.
• Establish specs for major equipment; manage vendor communications and deliveries.
• Oversee manufacturing, shop assembly, and ensure code compliance (ASME/API).
• Coordinate with client teams, project management, field service and commissioning.
