Job summary

Aerzen USA Corp. seeks a Project Engineer II to lead the technical execution and detailed engineering of PSA biogas to RNG upgrading systems.

You will be the primary technical contact across the project lifecycle, reviewing process designs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications to ensure quality and compliance. Collaborating with vendors, field teams, and clients, you will oversee manufacturing, shop assembly, and start-up activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is required.
• 5–10 years of engineering experience, preferably in biogas or RNG.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to read drawings, P&IDs, wiring and logic diagrams.
• Strong communication and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD, UNISIM, AVEVA is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution across the project lifecycle for PSA biogas-to-RNG systems.
• Review and approve process designs, P&IDs, PFDs, and mass/energy balances.
• Review detailed mechanical drawings, skid layouts, 3D models, piping designs, and structural requirements.
• Establish specifications, datasheets, and design parameters for major equipment.
• Manage supplier bids and coordinate with equipment manufacturers.
• Oversee manufacturing, shop assembly, and skid fabrication.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and industry code compliance.
• Interface with client teams and field personnel during fabrication and startup.
