Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a bindery role.
• At least 1 year as a Bindery Operator II, or previous Bindery Operator I or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run and maintain your assigned equipment.
• Lead and coach crew members during each shift.
• Troubleshoot equipment using company procedures to keep quality high and production on schedule.
• Read job information carefully and apply department policies, procedures and instructions correctly.
• Meet or beat department and company goals.
• Keep accurate counts.
• Do preventive maintenance, and work with supervisors and maintenance to get repairs done quickly.
• Pass key information to the next shift so the handoff goes smoothly.
• Train new bindery operators and crew members.
• Watch production and quality, and suggest process improvements.
• Follow all Walsworth safety procedures.
